As the son of a Zimbabwean farm girl and an Austrian engineer, I grew up in Bulawayo before moving to Austria after school. My history, apart from teaching at Calvary Chapel Bible College, includes working on NATO missions in the Balkans. On returning to Africa in 2007, I worked for Woolworths and Foschini as an Operations and Area Manager until purchasing Hedley Quick Curtains in 2024.

My passion has always been using my problem-solving skills and love for people to improve lives in all facets. Our goal as a company is to surpass all expectations and create three “wow” moments in every job we do.

Born as the only girl in a house with three brothers, whilst helping (amongst other things) my father in his butchery store in Stutterheim; I learnt quickly to make sure that I was taken seriously in life and this has driven my passion for all I do.

I qualified with a bachelor’s degree in Consumer Science and Tourism Management from Northwest University in 2020, which focused on interior design, fashion and food-science. In 2022 I specialised in Interior Designing at the Interior Designing Institute of Johannesburg. I have worked alongside well-known interior designers and event planners, which has given me valuable expertise in the field.

My own background has given me an appreciation for the significance of people’s cultures and how that interprets into their personal spaces. My passion for interior design extends beyond simply designing stunning spaces; it also includes establishing dependable, solid relationships with clients. Relationships and service are equally important to us at Hedley Quick.

The mother of two young ones, I’ve worked in Retail for the last 20 years including Sheet Street before starting at Hedley Quick four years ago. I have the pleasure of working alongside some of the best mentors ever… Avron, Alison and Francis; learning so much about window dressing, fabrics and home décor; starting as a receptionist but now dealing with all aspects of sales and customer service.

In the process I have discovered a real passion for what I do. It is such a blessing listening to customers describing what they would like to achieve in their homes and seeing this come to life.

Born and bred in East London. I am wife and mother of two beautiful daughters and love being part of all that Hedley Quick is and has come to mean to so many of our customers.

I have a master’s degree in public administration and worked prior to my time here as a Real Estate Agent for Century 21 and then ran my own interior designing consulting business; Grace Interiors before joining Hedley Quick in 2019. I love the opportunity to turn peoples’ home from a basic canvass into “Top Billing” and seeing the joy and pride that customers take from the experience.
